Omnichannel B2B gift, home and toy sales tools provider MarketTime has tapped former Creative Brands National Sales Manager Landon Metts to join its team as vice president of sales.
Metts has spent most of his professional career in the gift industry and is described as an accomplished sales professional in the wholesale industry known best for his ability to “cultivate internal and external business relationships as well as motivate peers to grow and succeed beyond their roles,” per a release from MarketTime.
In addition to his previous and current roles, Metts currently serves on the Board of Directors for Gift for Life, the industry’s sole charitable organization.
“Occasionally the stars align in business, and Landon’s interest in joining MarketTime is one of those times,” said Todd Litzman, president of MarketTime. “Selling technology is difficult. Finding people who can not only sell it but fully understand the value of the technology as it relates to the industries they are selling to is even more difficult. Between Landon’s industry knowledge and his experience utilizing MarketTime tools, he is the perfect fit for our sales team.”
“Landon cares deeply about people and forming trusted relationships,” added Jacob Teplin, chief operating officer for MarketTime. “He also understands the importance of the Human Factor and the critical role that sales agencies and great salespeople play in our industry. He will be an asset to our existing and future customers.”
When asked about his decision to leave Creative Brands, Metts shared a recollection from his own experience as a MarketTime customer.
“The MarketTime Team was always solutions minded, always striving to find a way to help and tenacious about doing so,” explained Metts. “The idea of moving out of merchandising and into the tech side of things is exciting. It’s an opportunity for me to take my experience and provide solutions to people like me.”
